Workshop 1: Assessing Your Organizational Capacity
Monday, April 25, 2011, 12pm – 9pm
Tuesday, April 26, 2011, 8am – 3pm

This session will provide the attendees with the critical information and knowledge needed to assess their organizational capacity and the systems in place for current and future stages of growth. Each attendee will be required to complete a 65-item Organizational Effectiveness Survey ($1,500 value) that is a proven model for assessing the extent to which her company has developed the “infrastructure” to support its current and future stage of development. The Survey will be administered to the program participant and up to 10 members of her team for those applicants accepted into this workshop session. Using the results from the Survey, the workshop will enable the woman business owner to determine the next steps in building a strategic roadmap for growth. Structured with both lectures and interactive group sessions, the session is designed to provide quality engagement opportunities with peers who are facing similar business challenges as well as access to industry experts who will guide her through the organizational development process. (Note: Participants should take both Workshop 1 and 2 in order to reap the maximum results.)
Workshop 2: Developing a Strategic Plan for Growth
Thursday, June 16, 2011, 12pm – 9pm
Friday, June 17, 2011, 8am – 3pm
Application Deadline: May 20, 2011
This session will provide the attendees with a proven process for building an effective strategic plan focused on long-term organizational growth. Using the results of the Organizational Effectiveness Survey from Workshop I, participants will develop a customized plan that will serve as a roadmap for achieving their goals and objectives for the next 3-5 years, including tools to ensure financial results and performance management to maximize organizational effectiveness. Participants who are accepted into this session will have the opportunity to register members of their senior management team (up to 3 per company) to help build and execute the strategic plan into measurable outcomes. Structured with both lectures and interactive group sessions, the session is designed to provide quality engagement opportunities with peers who are facing similar business challenges as well as access to industry experts who will guide her through the organizational development process. (Note: Workshop 1 is a pre- or co-requisite for acceptance into Workshop 2.)
