Carol E. Kuc, CMP founded Complete Conference Coordinators, Inc. a full service meeting management and registration company founded in 1984. She has been active in NAWBO since 1997. Among the honors awarded Ms. Kuc are the U.S. Small Business Administration Women in Business Advocate of the Year for the State of Illinois and the Midwest Region, and DiversityBusiness.com’s 100 Top Woman Owned Businesses in Illinois. Recently appointed by the Governor of Illinois to the board of the Illinois Institute for Entrepreneurship Education, Ms. Kuc is especially gratified to be working with young men and women who are interested in starting businesses. Ms. Kuc sits on the Executive Advisory Board of Women Impacting Public Policy, and chairs the Advisory Board of BoardRoom Bound, which seeks to place women and minorities on paid corporate boards. She also serves leadership capacities in meeting professionals trade organizations and sits on the College of DuPage (over 32,000 students) Travel and Tourism Advisory Board. She has also garnered many additional awards both while advocating on behalf women business owners and in her profession.
Testifying in the U.S. Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship on behalf of small businesses was a highlight for Ms. Kuc. She has spoken to many organizations and spoke on behalf of women business owners at the U.S. Department of Energy’s First Annual Small Business Conference. The Business Ledger named her an “Influential Woman in Business.” She is also the proud mother of three adult children.
