Marilyn Bushey is the president of PowerPAC (Power Performance and Communication, Inc.), a training and facilitation firm specializing in communication, presentation and management training, and in facilitating meetings and events. As a training specialist, Ms. Bushey collaborates with senior management in the design, development, and facilitation of training programs, strategic planning sessions and professional development programs such as management and leadership boot camps.
Before founding PowerPAC in 1994, Ms. Bushey was a director for PDS Technical Services, and founder and owner of The Temporary File, Inc., which was purchased by PDS in 1989. She also worked for the two largest international temporary services, Manpower, Inc. and Kelly Services, managing projects employing up to 900 temporary employees and producing annual revenues of $500,000 to $2.5 million. Ms. Bushey graduated from Louisiana Tech and was awarded a Certificate of Training and Development by American Society of Training and Development and the University of Oklahoma. She is an award-winning distributor for Inscape Publishing Company. She has served on many volunteer boards including the executive board of the Irving Chamber; the Irving Schools' Foundation; American Cancer Society; Irving Symphony Orchestra; YWCA and YMCA boards; and the Preservation and Redevelopment Board for the City of Irving.
