Linsey McDonald
Senior Risk Control Consultant

Linsey McDonald has been with Travelers as a senior risk control consultant in the Walnut Creek, California, office since 2001. Her responsibilities include working with customers to develop service strategies that utilize risk management resources to mitigate and reduce losses. Previously, Linsey worked as an environmental health and safety engineer and holds a master’s of environmental health and safety from the University of Minnesota. Travelers is a leading insurance carrier offering a variety of property and casualty insurance products designed to meet your business’ unique needs and protect you from a potential financial loss.

Seleen is responsible for identifying, acquiring and growing new and existing relationships with San Diego County businesses with annual revenues between $2-$20 million.

Seleen previously served as an Assistant Manager with Wells Fargo Financial.  Before joining Wells Fargo in 2008, she served as Finance Manager for American Honda.  

Seleen is passionate about giving back to her community. She is actively involved with Calpirg Initiatives and the Invisible Children’s Network. She also regularly volunteers at the Special Olympics and the San Diego Youth Services. She is a San Diego native.  


Miriam Muléy

Miriam Muléy started her career in product development at Johnson & Johnson, then launched a successful hair-care line for Clairol—Lasting Color by Loving Care, before transitioning to Avon, where she became general manager and successfully reversed the company’s market-share erosion among women of color. Now running her own business, The 85% Niche, Muléy does strategic marketing and sales consulting with corporations that want to better reach women or that have a foothold but aren’t reaching specific groups, such as Latina women. She recently authored The 85% Niche and speaks both virtually and in person to audiences around the country.

Marguerite received her Bachelor of Arts in French from Humboldt State University and her Juris Doctor from the University of San Francisco School of Law. She studied at the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico in Mexico City and at the Alliance Française and the Institute of International and Comparative Law, both in Paris. Andrea earned her Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of California in Los Angeles and a Master of Arts in English Literature from Claremont Graduate School. Their practice focuses on all aspects of planning for individuals and businesses, with special knowledge in charitable and investment planning, estate tax issues, executive benefits and business succession. They serve clients on a nationwide basis.


Denise Rodriguez

Denise, an Attorney and native of New York City and former U.S. Department of Transportation OSDBU Director, is the President of her own federal procurement consulting business, The KMJ Company (KMJ). KMJ is dedicated to connecting businesses, especially small, disadvantaged and minority firms with federal contracting opportunities, by helping those businesses new to federal procurement as well as enhancing the opportunities of experienced federal contractors.  She participates actively as a speaker at business and diversity events and also serves as the American Express OPEN Advisor on Teaming. In this role, Denise travels across the nation talking to small businesses about the Teaming USA joint initiative between American Express OPEN and Business Matchmaking, Inc., that encourages teaming among small businesses to increase their procurement capacity and opportunities.
