NAWBO® ANNOUNCES UPS AS PRESENTING SPONSOR OF 2012 WOMEN’S BUSINESS CONFERENCE

NAWBO Excited to Announce that Women’s Business Conference to be Held October 4-5, 2012 in Louisville, KY, will Feature UPS as Presenting Sponsor 

(Washington, DC, January 18, 2012)—Today the National Association of Women Business Owners® (NAWBO®) is announcing that corporate partner UPS will serve as the presenting sponsor of NAWBO®’s Women’s Business Conference (WBC) 2012. The WBC will be held October 4^th-5^th in Louisville, Kentucky, and will attract high-profile speakers and attendees from a variety of industries and sectors, including fashion, government and the media.

The theme of the 2012 WBC is Start Something. Events will center around the ways that women business owners innovate, advocate and accelerate their businesses and impact their communities.

Louisville, the site of the 2012 WBC, is also the location of UPS’s Worldport, their largest fully automated package handling facility in the world, which conference attendees will be invited to tour among the other activities planned and networking opportunities available. “UPS has been a long-time NAWBO partner and supporter of women business owners,” said UPS Customer Communications Manager, Lori Lemmon. “And we are thrilled to take on a larger role at this year’s conference and continue to help NAWBO members grow their businesses.”
