Best Practice: Pathways to Success Conference

Goal: Wanting to reach the largest audience of women possible, NAWBO Central Illinois partners with another organization for their annual conference.
Implementation: Each year NAWBO Central Illinois partners with "Women in Leadership” for their conference. At the conference they have vendor booths, drawings, a silent auction, breakout sessions and a keynote speaker. It attracts a larger crowd since two organizations members are coming together.
Results: Partnering with another organization can help your chapter save money and can introduce your organization to potential members. NAWBO Central Illinois has found that “Women in Leadership” is an easy organization to work with and is very good with sharing their information and the profits.
