Lisa Hickey Receives the Alumni Achievement Award from Florida Southern College

In recognition of her outstanding entrepreneurship and tireless advocacy for women business owners, Lisa Hickey received the Alumni Achievement Award from Florida Southern College (FSC). Hickey began working with Douglass Screen Printers in 1975 and served as an artist, art director, vice president and general manager before becoming president and CEO in 1996. She is NAWBO’s immediate past president as well as the North American regional commissioner for FCEM, a global association for female entrepreneurs. Additionally, she serves on the Polk Museum of Art’s Executive Committee and Board of Trustees, USF Public Broadcasting Advisory Board and Girl Scouts of West Central Florida Board. Hickey was also named the Outstanding MBA Graduate of 1995-1996 by FSC.
