Best Practice: Corporate Partner Associates

Goal: NAWBO Chicago created Corporate Partner Associates within their organization to make sure that the Corporate Partners stayed well informed with what the chapter was doing, which would hopefully improve Corporate Partner retention.
Implementation: NAWBO Chicago’s Corporate Partner Retention Committee assigns an associate to each Corporate Partner. The associate builds and maintains the relationship, making sure the Corporate Partners know about their events, sponsorship opportunities, and ensuring that they are taking full advantage of their benefits.
Results: This has been key to NAWBO Chicago’s Corporate Partner program success. They have over 45 Partners whose support (both volunteer and monetary) is vital to the Chapter. Additionally, the members love to serve as the associate because they can obtain a strong relationshop with a large company that they may wish to do business with.
