Guardian Life Insurance Company of America Announces Girls Going Places® Entrepreneurship Award National Finalist—Eugenia O’Kelly
As NAWBO members, you already know that having support when you’re starting your business is key to your long-term success—and that it’s up to us to build a legacy of success for future women entrepreneurs. But did you know that NAWBO’s Corporate Partner, Guardian, is committed to helping us to do exactly that?
NAWBO is hosting Guardian’s Girls Going Places® Entrepreneurship Conference during our upcoming Women’s Business Conference (WBC) in June. During the conference, 50 young women from the Chicago area will get exposure to women business owners and training on the essentials they need to make their businesses a success. What’s more is that Guardian will present an award to one of the winners of the 2009 Girls Going Places® Entrepreneurship Award Program during the WBC.
Eugenia O’Kelly of San Francisco, California was selected as a national finalist in the 2009 GGP Entrepreneurship Award program from more than 5,000 girls for her outstanding endeavor as an entrepreneur. In the last two years, she has operated Sirius Games, LLC, a software company that develops and markets electronic learning games to assist high school and college students studying Latin language and Roman history.
