NAWBO Institute for Entrepreneurial Development

In 2003, National Association for Women Business Owners formed the NAWBO Institute for Entrepreneurial Development. The NAWBO IED is a 501(c)3 educational foundation that seeks to expand the educational opportunities for emerging and established women entrepreneurs.

Past NAWBO IED initiatives include:

Sponsorship of an international track of educational programming at NAWBO’s 2004 Women’s Business Conference in Dallas, TX
Sponsorship of the October 2004 Joint Economic Summit hosted in conjunction with Women Entrepreneurs of Canada
A nationwide campaign in 2005 to support women entrepreneurs affected by Hurricane Katrina
