As co-owner of the popular Minneapolis restaurant and food truck fleet Chef Shack, Carrie Summer is known locally as one of the “Godmothers of food trucking in the North.” Carrie and her partner Lisa Carlson started Chef Shack in 2006 and it quickly became one of the most successful food trucks to hit the Twin Cities. Prior to that, she served as assistant administrator for policy and strategic planning at the Small Business Administration (Senior Executive Service level).
