  • Get clear about your business processes and systems (especially undocumented non-automated systems).  
  • Create a plan to systemize and operate your business smoothly.

  • 4 weekly sessions with homework in between (3 in-person meetings & 1 virtual [3/3/20])

In his book The E-Myth Revisited, Michael Gerber explains that most small business owners DON’T end up with the business of their dreams (where they can do what they love with freedom from a Boss) because they don’t develop documented and repeatable processes that can be performed by others. Instead, they end up working too much and doing tasks they don’t even enjoy.

Build a Small Business That Works is a hands-on educational program for a small group of women business owners. Each participant will be guided through a step-by-step process of assessing her current business processes and developing a plan to systematize her business – so it works for HER.  

Participation includes attendance at four 2-hour sessions AND completion of homework assignments in between sessions (2-3 hours/week). 

At the weekly sessions, each participant will share her progress and get feedback and encouragement from the others. The facilitator will provide instructions, worksheets, and guidance for the between-session assignments.

Participation is limited to 6 participants (minimum of 4) to ensure each has time to fully participate – to get and give feedback AND to express concerns and celebrate progress. This is an opportunity to get to know 6 other WBO’s who are as committed to their business as you are.

Karen Cleveland helps small business owners achieve THEIR ideal life’s primary aims – “working” at what they love with their ideal customers, while enjoying their personal lifestyle of choice. She has been gifted with a curiosity that seeks out the WHYs and one of those brains which loves processes and patterns, enabling her to connect the dots between the Big Picture and the details which make it all work. 

The last decade of Karen’s work life has focused on small businesses with at least one foot online, but that was preceded by several decades managing projects and developing systems for non-profit and corporate organizations (including IBM for 18 years), with customers from a wide range of industries and niches, AND a decade homeschooling her two amazing daughters.
