BB&T now Truist Bank
For the last 25 years, I have been working with entrepreneurs and small business clients to help them with their banking needs. My goal with every interaction is to better understand their needs. People are so busy today that having a conversation about needs and goals can be a challenge. However, meeting or calling a couple of times a year can be incredibly valuable. I want to understand each client’s business and based on that knowledge can make recommendations that fit their specific needs. When we talk about a strategic partner in business, I believe that your banker should fall under that category. I want my clients to know I am invested in their success.
I joined NAWBO because I saw an opportunity to meet and get to know women business owners. The energy and drive of these women is energizing to me. I have been in other business-focused groups and found that the women in NAWBO are more supportive and encouraging of one another. There are plenty of organizations that one can join. I have always believed that one should spend their time and energy in an organization that helps them grow personally and/or professionally. NAWBO, for me, is a group of professional, talented women that create a sisterhood of support.
