The NAWBO Chicago Celebration of Achievement is “Reimagining Possibilities” as it transforms into a full-day virtual conference on September 10, 2020 to honor and empower local women business owners.
Now in its 37th year, the luncheon is morphing into an online conference that focuses on advancing entrepreneurs. Viewers can attend educational breakout workshops and virtual exhibit halls throughout the day. Topics will provide essential information for business owners to excel post-pandemic.
This full day of learning and inspiration will feature dynamic keynote speaker, Betsy Owens, Chief Marketing and Innovation Officer and Senior Vice President of Shirley Ryan AbilityLab. After 30 years in corporate America at SC Johnson, Kenmore, Rand McNally and President/CEO of Farley and Sathers, Betsy led a rebranding that drove the 66-year-old organization’s renaming (from Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago) and move into the new $550 million, 1.2 million-square-foot research hospital. In reimaging the possibilities of healthcare, the AbilityLab has ranked No. 1 as the best hospital in the country for an unprecedented 29 years in a row.
