About Cheryl Vargas
Cheryl is a self-taught artist and Founder and Creative-in-Chief of Studio 928. Her career is the culmination of many years of melding together art, technology and teaching into a business she and her clients love. A Chicago native, she is a painter, sculptor, graphic artist and event planner. She loves portraiture - primarily in acrylics, but also pastels, graphite and watercolor. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Arts from Concordia University in River Forest. She's passionate about connecting and engaging teams that know each other solely as "talking heads" and obliterating the "starving artist" myth, while helping the inner artist make "Time for Art." She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and creating art.
