NAWBO Talks

Wednesday, October 28, 2020 - 4:00pm5:30pm
Registration Deadline:
October 27, 2020 - 2:00pm

Learn how our NAWBO history and a little practical member insight can help us navigate our new normal. NAWBO Chicago is invited to continue a discussion around the NAWBO National Conference, “Brave Is…” where we will focus on the brave entrepreneurs who continue to focus on resilience as they navigate 2020.

Denise Cavanaugh (a Founding Member of NAWBO) and Judi Schindler (NAWBO Chicago’s third President) will kick off the event as they talk about the many resilient women who joined forces to create great impact for female entrepreneurs and their original vision for the organization. We will give a nod to our historical roots as we pay tribute to the women on whose shoulders we stand today. Then we will fast-forward to a panel discussion with three of our current members who have demonstrated great resilience as they refused to let 2020 dampen their spirit or their businesses.

You won’t want to miss this NAWBO Talks as these women business owners will share their authentic tales of how they have risen up in the face of adversity to take their businesses to the next level! Join us to hear their stories about how the pandemic impacted their business and what they have done this year to pivot their businesses forward despite the challenges they have faced this year.
