Mastermind Groups

A Mastermind is the same small group of women that meet on a regular, peer-to-peer basis to confidentially discuss business matters in a more in-depth, supportive and consultative manner. Over time, as familiarity builds, these groups often serve in an advisory manner for members.

Our Premier Members are eligible to participate in one Mastermind for free. We currently have Mastermind groups in the following regions:

  • Near North (2nd Wednesday of each month)
  • Northwest (3rd Tuesday of each month)
  • North Suburbs (Quarterly – 3rd Thursday in January, April, July and October)
  • West Town (2nd Wednesday of each month)
  • Loop (2nd Tuesday of each month

Please email Melissa Lagowski at melissa@nawbochicago.org to join a Mastermind.

COVID-19 Business Resources

At NAWBO Chicago, we have been working around the clock to stay on top of the latest Coronavirus (COVID-19) developments, recommendations and resources and to develop a plan that will support you and keep you connected during this challenging time. We are gathering resources from our partners and other trusted organizations to help you navigate the changing business world. We will continue to update this page, along with our member programming as more information becomes available.

Executive Roundtable

NAWBO Chicago’s Executive Roundtable is an initiative for our larger business owner members with annual revenues in excess of $2M and W-2 staff of 10 or more. The goal of the Roundtable is to provide a confidential forum for peer-to-peer discussion on current business needs and challenges for larger women owned businesses. The group will meet every 6 weeks for two hours and the expectation is that members of the Roundtable commit to attending all of the sessions to foster a close-knit group. NAWBO Chicago will cap each Roundtable to 10 or so members. As interest expands, additional Roundtables will be formed.
