EVENT INFORMATION:

The year 2020 celebrates many major milestones in the history of women, and the history of women in business. As we celebrate the 100-year anniversary of the passage of the 19th amendment giving women the right to vote, we also celebrate NAWBO’s 45th anniversary, and NAWBO DFW’s 35th anniversary.

In the past 50 years, women have created the change they needed to be able to thrive, prosper and succeed with their vision of creating a better place to work and live. Internationally, women business owners look to the women business owners in the states as a beacon of what is possible. Amazingly, the body of international women are impacting change in their own countries in less time than we took on our own journey. Their lightning speed of change is shining light on new questions for us to ponder, such as: What have we done lately? Have we gotten distracted with the busyness of our business? Where are we headed? What new paths still need to be paved? Where do we need to grow as leaders in the small business economy?

Join us for our annual Women Leadership Series where we will tackle these questions with those who pioneered the creation of NAWBO 45 years ago and those who are carrying the torch for the future. This event will include opportunities to network with other strong and successful women business owners, as well as a fire-side chat with founding NAWBO member Dottie Gandy, current National Chair Jeanette Armbrust, and NAWBO DFW President Leslie Hassler. We will also kick off our NAWBO Mastermind Series with facilitator LoriAnne Reeves and inspire you to take your business and your leadership to the next level.
