Dr. Theresa Ashby

Dr Theresa is a Stratologist, a savvy, provocative, and genuine individual, widely respected for her business acumen. She’s a national business and success consultant, advisor, speaker, and author passionate about driving businesses forward. She utilizes groundbreaking operational implementation strategies, processes, and advisement, and has 30 years of experience in leadership roles, managing a $50 million budget, and overseeing $1.7 billion of capital improvements. She’s the author of Better Implementation NOW! Eight WaysGreat Strategies Fail & How To Fix Them, is CEO of Strategic Implementation Solutions, and serves as VP for NAWBO California.

Penny Benkeser

Penny is the owner of three SERVPRO franchises and Carolinas Restoration—an independent construction company. SERVPRO helps clean up property damage caused by fire, water or mold—and her construction company helps put it all back together again. Penny is past president of NAWBO Charlotte.

Lee Broekman

Lee is an author, speaker and facilitator, provides communication and leadership guidance to executives and teams. An expert in persuasion, presentation and interpersonal communication, Lee trains decision makers to communicate, collaborate and innovate naturally and effectively. Lee shows professionals how to increase productivity, innovate service and adopt smart strategies. A communication lecturer for over 15 years, Lee has taught courses at USC’s Annenberg School for Communication and Marshall School of Business, and guest teaches at UCLA School of Law. Lee is the author of Successful (Happy) Lawyering and StopBlocking, StartConnecting: 8 Key Skills of Successful Communicators.

Lorena Camargo

Lorena started Pearl Transportation & Logistics in LA at age 24. Today, they deliver everything from human tissue to aircraft parts to Southern CA, throughout the US and abroad, offering on-demand courier services, routed deliveries, next flight out services, trucking, warehousing, and distribution and customized logistics services.

Tinesha Cherry

Tinesha has trained hundreds of leaders across the country to maximize their leadership skills and lead with confidence. Both trainers and coaches, Mrs. Cherry and her team have traveled the country training hundreds of supervisors and managers from multiple agencies throughout the federal government. Through Mrs. Cherry’s leadership training, participants learn to overcome insecurities, build confidence, courage, and character, and take actions necessary to contribute to the realization of their professional dreams and aspirations.

Katie Adams Farrell

Katie is an entrepreneurial fundraising and nonprofit management expert. Specializing in strategic planning, governance, capital campaigns, grant writing, advocacy, corporate sponsorship, and database management, Katie has managed projects and helped nonprofits across Southern California raise hundreds of millions of dollars. Katie co-founded her agency, Kerredyn Collaborative, to amplify social enterprise and nonprofit causes. Kerredyn designs, markets, funds, and implements projects with the capacity for big social impact. She also founded and owns KAF Catalyst, a virtual grant-writing shop that provides high-quality affordable grant writing services for nonprofits.

Pam Goble

Pam is Owner and CEO of Ability HomeCare, Inc which provides Speech, Occupational, and Physical Therapy and Private Duty Nursing to 700 children in San Antonio and surrounding areas. Ability is celebrating 13 yrs in business and has over 240 employees. Pam’s second business, All 4 Therapy, is an outpatient pediatric clinic in Humble, Texas. Pam currently serves as president of NAWBO San Antonio.

Karen Harrison

Karen Harrison serves as Senior Vice President, National SBA Executive at Bank of America.  Her national team is responsible for delivering credit solutions to business owners across the United States, while also ensuring clients benefit from the full franchise value of Bank of America/Merrill Lynch.   As a Preferred Lender for the SBA, Bank of America is one of the leading SBA lenders in the nation, helping business clients secure the capital they need to meet their business priorities.  A 25-year banking veteran, Karen has held senior executive management positions at leading financial institutions prior to joining Bank of America in 2011.  During her tenure at Bank of America, she has held local, regional and national roles supporting business clients. Karen is actively engaged in the community and is a recipient of the Global Diversity and Inclusion award at Bank of America.
