Michele Bolos Headshot

Michele Bolos, CEO and Founder, Next Tier Concepts

Michele Bolos is CEO and founder of Next Tier Concepts (NT Concepts), an information technology company that she started in 1998. Her personal vision when starting NT Concepts was to stay ahead of the curve in technology trends while keeping great customer service above all.

Prior to starting NT Concepts, Michele served as a system engineer for Alfa-Laval Thermal in Richmond, Virginia and as an independent consultant for Mobil Oil, Talus Corporation and API/WANG Global. As a consultant, she led complex software engineering efforts for the commercial and federal marketplace. Michele earned a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems from Virginia Commonwealth University.

John Hale III Headshot

John Hale III, Founder and CEO, The Cornerstone Group, LLC

John Hale III, Founder and CEO of The Cornerstone Group, LLC is a business leader with intimate knowledge of federal government operations, processes and contracting. Mr. Hale held two presidentially appointed positions, most recently as the SES Director of the Office of Small & Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU) at the U.S. Department of Energy and previously as the Deputy Associate Administrator for the Office of Capital Access at the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). As the OSDBU Director, he led initiatives and implemented strategies that improved the Department of Energy’s U.S. SBA scorecard grade from four consecutive “F” to two consecutive “A” grades. This turnaround was achieved in part, by adding over $1.9 billion in new prime small business obligations and separately converting over $650 million of prime large business contracts to prime small business contracts.

Tan V. Wilson Headshot

Tan Wilson, PMP, President, Entellect, LLC

Tan V. Wilson, PMP, is the President of Entellect, LLC, a boutique business development, capture and proposal support company. She is an experienced and successful entrepreneur with more than 20 years of experience in business development and program management across Federal and commercial IT business sectors. Tan has helped companies target the right opportunity to give the greatest return on investment by assembling the right people, processes, and tools to develop a comprehensive capture plan. Her notable contract wins include several Civilian, DoD and Intelligence Community GWACs.

Jackie Robinson-Burnette

Jackie Robinson-Burnette, Deputy Associate Administrator, Office of Government Contracting & Business Development Headquarters, US Small Business Association

Jackie was inducted into the Senior Executive Service as the Associate Administrator of 8(a) Business Development with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) on December 15, 2014.  She quickly inspired her team to collaborate across the agency and implement new streamlined procedures to simplify complex processes and significantly reduce administrative burdens on small businesses applying for SBA programs. The SBA promoted her again on May 1, 2016 to serve as the Deputy for Government Contracting and Business Development, and in this capacity she leads a team of five Senior Executives and over 190 small business professionals across the Nation.  She consistently motivates her team to provide Smart, Bold, and Accessible (SBA) customer service to small businesses across the country -- the absolute best customer service the federal government has to offer.
