Baseball season is over, football season is underway and yes...Christmas is around the corner! OK I said it without saying Halloween. Why not? All of the stores are skipping it. Ha ha. My favorite holiday is Halloween so it saddens me as well to see this holiday left in the dust.
On another note, we are back from Conference with amazing new ideas! My experience this year at the WBC was amazing and really helped me clear through the clouds in my head and make me believe that I AM WOMAN HEAR ME ROAR :-) No, really, I feel more powerful than ever before. It was time to get away and work on not just business, but ME. Yes, it's okay to work on you when you are the owner of a business and this is something I feel I have not done very well, but will be doing more of in the future. PLEASE reach out to me for coffee or lunch so I can share these ideas and experiences.
Be on the lookout for updates and information on interesting news and ideas on WBC, membership and upcoming events.
Thanks again to ALL of our members and sponsors! We would not be here without your support.
Thanks,
Brandy

We all network, we are out there “making it happen” and constantly come across women business owners we hadn’t known 5 minutes prior. The basic theme seems to be women want to support and help each other expand their businesses and grow their organizations whether in like industries or not.
Business owners just don’t have a lot of free time so we need to make smart decisions about the groups we join. Membership in organizations that focus on members helping one another are critical to any of us who want to move our businesses ahead. Organizations like this do exist and, better yet, they are filled with individuals with positive attitudes and smart.
Whether it be working with the city, other industry groups or within your own organization, now is the time to find those allegiances and reach out to one another.
It’s a critical time in business for women to join organizations that help them grow their companies. It’s why I joined NAWBO and have stayed an active member, and board member, for over four years.
If you aren't already following us on Facebook, please do. We have a new account so either click HERE to go directly there or search Facebook for NAWBO KC (exactly as written). You'll find the latest NAWBO KC news and info on how to register for coming events.
