Why attend the WBC? A personal perspective.
I am SO bummed that I will be missing the NAWBO Women’s Business Conference this year. I have gone for the last two years and it has been one of the best conferences I have attended. It is well worth the time, money, and travel to attend. This year, unfortunately, I will be on a two-week trip to Germany, so I am unable to attend (I’m not bummed about Germany, just the timing)!
The conference is in Columbus, OH, September 18th – 20th. It’s coming up quickly, however, if you have the availability, I highly recommend you try to attend. Here is why. We all need to take a time out from working IN our business to focus on what’s most important – working ON our business. With the WBC, I found that I came away with so many great ideas that I could not possibly implement them all. The speakers, alone were worth the price of the conference (which is VERY reasonable), but the breakout sessions, mentoring, and energy were a great bonus. There was so much information, I made the decision to take one strategic idea each time that I attended to work on when I returned. It took me almost a year to complete last year’s work, but I did it!
I found WBC to be an inspiring, rejuvenating and FUN couple of days with fellow women business owners. Whether you are just starting out, a seasoned business owner, or someone who just loves professional development (like me!), this conference is for you.
