Karen Bennetts

Karen is founder & owner of Little Red Bird, a brand development and strategic creative services firm that helps companies discover and express their brand voices through creative communications. LRB supports organizations in segments such as education and non-profits, retail, financial services, healthcare, and construction.

Karen delivers brand and creative strategy development, and oversees day-to-day project and fiscal management, media planning and buying, and research for the firm’s clients.

Prior to founding Little Red Bird in 2008, Karen led her own marketing consulting firm and has served in senior roles in advertising firms in Charlotte, N.C., Rochester, N.Y., and New York, N.Y.

Karen serves as Chair of the National Board of Directors for the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO), is past president of the NAWBO Charlotte Chapter, and past chair of the National Presidents Assembly Steering Committee.

Karen and her husband live in South Charlotte, NC, and have two daughters.
