Sandy Cody joined NAWBO in 1996 when she first opened her company, Resources for Excellence, Inc (now Draker-Cody, Inc.) Throughout the years Sandy has served on the NNM-NAWBO Board of Directors as President, 2006-2007, chaired the Public Policy Committee and participated in the Chapter’s Retention, Awards, Governance and By-Law Committees. Sandy was elected to the Presidents’ Assembly Steering Committee (PASC) in 2008 and became the PASC Chair in 2009 as PASC Chair she served on the National NAWBO Board.
If NAWBO is not enough, Sandy volunteers with several Albuquerque non-profit agencies such as the NM Alzheimer’s Association, Habitat for Humanity and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central NM, where she is a corporate sponsor.
Sandy is an award winning faculty member of Webster University and in June of 2010 she won the Small Business Administration Region VI Women Business Champion of the Year Award.
