I’m Georgette Lombardo, the founder of Pawsitive Training ABQ. My passion is providing my clients with personalized, one-on-one attention to help solve the doggie-related problems or challenges they’re facing. I have been working with dogs for about four years and a variety of different breeds and dogs of all ages.
As a professional member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers, a recommended trainer by American Humane New Mexico, and a Karen Pryor Academy Certified Training Partner (one of only a few in the area), I’m experienced in dealing with a variety of issues and behaviors, ranging from puppy socialization to a fear of strangers. These skills were recognized in Albuquerque the Magazine’s 2016 Best of the City issue as one of the area’s Top 5 Trainers.
I’m committed to force-free, humane training techniques that are highly effective, get real results and are just plain fun. After all, who wants to do something – even if it’s good for you – if it isn’t fun? I keep things simple and talk in a language that’s easy for both dogs and humans to understand. Then I help you and our dog learn how to talk to each other, too. Because, as we all know, communication is the key to any successful relationship!
