Fundbox | NAWBO

Fundbox is dedicated to helping women small business owners, entrepreneurs, and founders grow their businesses by democratizing access to credit.

Fundbox is proud to partner with NAWBO on the 30th anniversary of HR5050. This milestone legislation, prohibited any state from requiring women entrepreneurs and business owners to have a male cosigner for business loans, paved the way for companies like Fundbox to exist. In fact, our history is rooted in a woman-owned business. The Fundbox story began in 2013 as a result of a co-founder’s mother who couldn’t get a loan to help grow her small business. It was a staffing agency in Israel and, ironically, banks refused to lend to her because her business was growing so quickly she didn’t have high enough cash balances. This seemed to defy common sense to our founders… and the rest of the Fundbox team. So we decided to do something about it.

Several eventful years later, Fundbox has credit and payments products for small businesses rooted in common sense. Our AI-driven technology allows us to serve some small businesses that no one else can.
