HB2047 Statement of Support

The National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO), Phoenix Chapter, stands in support of HB2047. Click here for the text of the bill.

We, the Board of Directors, find that HB2047 is in alignment with two of our four mission points, which are both relevant to this measure.

This bill strengthens the wealth-creating capacity of our members and promote economic development by eliminating requirements for fees and levys that place unfair burdens on small LLC’s, and creates innovative and effective changes in the business culture by allowing opt-in measures for these same small LLC’s regarding Workmen’s Compensation Insurance, promoting choice

No part of this measure is out of alignment with our overarching goals, and we are pleased to support the measure.

On behalf of the Board of Directors of NAWBO Phoenix,

Wendy D. Anderton, Advocacy Chair
