NAWBO and IEEW Announce Partnership to Support Women Business Owners Around the Globe

(Washington, D.C. September 13, 2017)—The National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) and the Institute for Economic Empowerment of Women (IEEW) are proud to launch a strategic partnership aimed at supporting women business owners around the globe. The groups will work together to develop online content and programming and mentoring opportunities targeted at helping women entrepreneurs start and scale their businesses.

“NAWBO is pleased to continue to expand our international footprint by partnering with Dr. Terry Neese and her fantastic team at IEEW,” said Kathy Warnick, NAWBO National Board Chair. “NAWBO and IEEW have long shared a common belief in the economic power of women entrepreneurs. We look forward to working together to design curriculum and programming that will enable more women to help themselves and others through entrepreneurism.”

NAWBO National recently attended IEEW’s PEACE THROUGH BUSINESS® graduation in Dallas. Dr. Terry Neese, IEEW’s founder, served as National President of NAWBO from 1990- 1991.

“At IEEW, we are honored to partner with NAWBO. As a past National President of NAWBO, the knowledge garnered during my term has served me well over the years. The NAWBO partnership will help IEEW educate and mentor more women around the globe. I look forward to signing this MOU,” said Dr. Terry Neese.

The groups will sign an official MOU at the NAWBO annual Women’s Business Conference, which will take place in Minneapolis October 15-17.
