NAWBO National Endorses Brad Schneider For Congress

Schneider joins a growing list of candidates supported by NAWBO National.

Washington, D.C. —The National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) is announcing its endorsement of U.S. Representative Brad Schneider in his bid for re-election in Illinois’s 10th District.

“Representative Schneider’s strong business background epitomizes what representation we need in Washington,” explains Molly Gimmel, NAWBO National Board Chair. “His work in Congress continues to underscore this understanding of the business community. Congressman Schneider’s work includes policies that promote economic growth such as increasing funding to help commericialize small business research products as well as providing veterans an avenue to start their own business when they return home.”

"It is an honor to earn the endorsement of the National Association of Women Business Owners. Small businesses are the engine of our economy, and I have worked to create the conditions for entrepreneurial success as a member of the House Small Business Committee. I have also introduced bipartisan legislation to help more women-owned small businesses access federal contract opportunities. I look forward to continuing to work with women entrepreneurs and the small business community to create more jobs and economic growth in the coming term," says Congressman Schneider.

NAWBO National considers candidates for endorsement after they have won their primary. The selection of candidates is based solely on their history of business ownership or their voting record demonstrating their consistent support of business owners. Additional endorsements will be made by NAWBO prior to the November 6th general election.
