San Francisco Bay Area

I had the same question five years ago. My business was stagnating. It was time putting energy into working ON my business rather than IN my business. Since I know the most effective way service industry businesses like mine to grow is through networking, I took myself on a "networking tour" of the Bay Area.

  • After a long corporate career in advertising both on the client side and the agency side, Deb wanted to develop a company that would allow her to leverage her talents, combining brand insights with high level strategy and tenacious execution. Founded in 2005, Stage2 takes companies to the next stage by providing marketing that is target focused, intelligent and thoughtful.

  • Diane Camacho is in the business of helping attorneys manage their practice and has over thirty years of experience in law firm administration. She started her own consulting practice about four years ago, working mostly with small law firms on management issues ranging from which software to purchase to how to hire an employee.

  • Anna became a member of NAWBO in 2016 after attending an event co-hosted by the Golden Gate Business Association, of which she serves on the board, and NAWBO-SFBA. The event included a panel of all-women business owners and she was really inspired by the idea of spending more time with women business owners and seeing her "sisters" succeed!
  • Emily became a member of NAWBO in 2012 after she left a male-dominated law firm to start her own practice.

The Law Office of Emily A. Wirowek takes a different approach to planning for their clients. Before making any recommendations, they take the time to understand the needs, concerns, values and goals of their clients. Their method is relationship-based and client-centered. Her practice focuses on delivering highly customized estate plans. Through counseling, they save taxes, reduce costs, protect families and provide highly personalized services.

  • Have you heard of the new North Bay Professional Development Forum? This is something that members will really want to take advantage of! Katie, as one of the facilitators, is so excited to create a Forum where women can really get to know one another and their businesses and create a community that is connected and supportive of each other. This concept is a perfect fit for NAWBO and one of the main reasons why she joined our great organization.
