San Francisco Bay Area is a nonprofit program that matches small business owners with pro bono expert advisors and mentors from major banks, consulting firms, and larger companies.60% of the small businesses that Pacific Community ventures works with are owned by women, and over 50% of the hundreds of expert advisors volunteering in their program are women. In addition to offering mentoring for smaller companies, is looking for skills-based mentors and advisors from a range of fields, including finance, marketing, operations, and beyond, who want to help get small business owners to the next level.

Nearly half of women entrepreneurs state they lack available mentors –- yet mentoring can make a big difference. According to the U.S. Small Business Administration, half of all small businesses fail within their first five years.
