NAWBO-SVV Shining Stars Entrepreneurial Excellence Awards

This year’s “Visionary Award” recipient was Danette Wolpert, Founder/Executive Director, ILLUMINATE Film LLC for her dream to build an enterprise that enlightens others through the film medium to create a better world.

NAWBO awarded its $1,500 Young Woman Entrepreneur Scholarship to Lezah Richardson, a senior from Sedona Red Rock High School.

All the nominees are truly “Shining Stars” in our community and are recognized for their nomination. “Each year the selection process gets tougher and tougher,” commented Janice Dahl, Past-President and Shining Stars Committee Co-Chair, “all of these women are extraordinary and determining a winner from each category is an onerous task for the committee.” NAWBO would like to express their appreciation to the community for their support of Shining Stars. This event was a complete sell-out and the proceeds for the student scholarship exceeded budget expectations.
