Christina LoRusso MSA, CDFA, CFE, CVA, MAFF

As the owner and operator of Lorusso Forensics LLC, Ms. LoRusso utilizes both her finance and accounting skillset while assisting in fraud investigations and assisting counsel with litigious and consulting matters. In a consulting role, she has assisted with clients facing insolvency, marital dissolution, possible bankruptcy, restructuring and individuals who have contemplated buy/sell transactions.

• Investigatory skills resulting in identifying missing, incomplete, or inaccurate data and/or reconstructing financial transactions

Latoya Holoman

Director of Community Outreach for the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Foundation

Latoya Holman works as the Director of Community Outreach for the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) Foundation, which fundraises to support LVMPD’s community engagement work, advanced training, equipment and technology, the families of fallen officers and community safety programs aimed at reducing crime and strengthening the relationship between the community and our police officers.

In addition to her work with the LVMPD Foundation, Holman is a founding member of the Human Rights Campaign Las Vegas (HRC). HRC is the largest LGBT civil rights organization in the country with more than 4 million members. Latoya has been serving on the board in numerous capacities for 15 years. She currently serves as a member of the National Board of Governors and is a member of the National Executive Committee for HRC, lending her voice as a proud African-American ally, business woman and advocate to the Equality Movement. Holman was a member of the cultivation committee which helped fundraising efforts for what is now the Robert L. Forbuss LGBT Center. She has also delivered multiple keynote speeches at HRC galas and corporate diversity programs both locally and across the country.

With a passion for civil rights, Holman has worked with Project REAL, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization which encourages students to learn more about the importance of the law. She has lead presentations and tours for more than 3,000 students, helping them identify career paths for themselves and develop a respect for our justice system. She also dedicates time as a board member to Social CirKISH, a local 501(c)3 non-profit organization working with at risk youth. Latoya also serves as a board member for Nevada School of the Arts and the NAACP Las Vegas.

In addition to her various board positions, Latoya is the chairwoman of the Discovery Children’s Museum Diversity Equity & Inclusion Advisory Council.

Born and raised in Sacramento California, Latoya is a graduate of Clark Atanta University, an HBCU which is a part of the Atlanta University Center. She is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

Julie A. Kraig

Executive Director of the Citizen Review Board of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Foundation

Julie A. Kraig was appointed Executive Director of the Citizen Review Board of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department in June 2020. Ms. Kraig had previously served both as a board member and as the Interim Director of the Citizen Review Board, where she has been instrumental in propagating lawful and orderly use of body-worn cameras.

Prior to her involvement with the Citizen Review Board, Ms. Kraig served on the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department's Use of Force Board for nearly 10 years, gaining invaluable experience and expertise in police training and procedural review.

Ms. Kraig received her Bachelor of Science Degree from Central Michigan University in 1991 with her studies focusing in political science and government. After graduating from Central Michigan University, Ms. Kraig accepted a position as an executive assistant with the office of McLeod, Watkinson & Miller in Washington, D.C. She left Capitol Hill in 1996 and accepted a position at a prominent Las Vegas law firm. In addition to having over three decades of legal management experience, Ms. Kraig has also devoted countless hours to various community service organizations in the Las Vegas valley.

Regina Coward-Homan

President of the Nevada Black Police Association

Region 1 President of the National Black Police Association

Regina Coward-Holman is a 27+ year veteran police officer with the Las Vegas Metro Police Department. She retired in April 2018 and has maintained her connection to the department and community. Regina is the president of the Nevada Black Police Association and the Region 1 President of the National Black Police Association. Regina sits on the Board of Directors for Bolden Little League. This league is comprised of police officers and community members who coach and mentor kids from the Greater West Las Vegas Area. Bolden Little League is the only league that doesn’t charge kids a fee to play. Regina is also an instructor for Toe Tag Monologues were she is committed to seeing our youth survive suicidal thoughts and have all the tools needed for a successful fulfilled life.

Her last career assignment was Bolden Area Command that sits 1 block away from where she grew up. This worked to her advantage as she knew exactly what it would take to begin honest and open dialogue with the community, what resources were lacking and how to make it a safer community. Regina spent 6 years planning community events and outreaches to bridge the gap between the police and community. Her focus was to create a bond between the police and community and ensure that every citizen felt comfortable to stop police officers and ask for help.

She has comprehensive knowledge and experience in social justice, identifying, coordinating outreach strategies to cultivate relationships with corporations, professional associations, and community partners.

Regina continues to be a pillar in the community as well as a strong voice for the officers and civilians who she proudly serves.

Jon D. Ponder

Founder and CEO of HOPE for Prisoners, Inc.

Jon D. Ponder is the founder and CEO of HOPE for Prisoners, Inc. Mr. Ponder was appointed by Governor Brian Sandoval to the Nevada Sentencing Commission in 2017 and was appointed to the Governor’s Reentry Taskforce and the US Commission on Civil Rights Nevada State Advisory Committee in 2016. He serves as a Commissioner with the Nevada Commission on Postsecondary Education.

He serves as an ordained chaplain with Chaplaincy Nevada. He oversees all aspects of the programs and services provided by HOPE for Prisoners, including a comprehensive array of program components designed to assist individuals to successfully reintegrate into society. He is responsible for developing and implementing strategic planning for the organization, and is extremely passionate about the value of mentoring for persons coming out of correctional settings. Mr. Ponders personal experience with the judicial system gives him the expertise to provide training for offender populations in correctional settings as he has for 15 years.

His personal life experiences uniquely equip him to provide the guidance, direction and motivation for individuals attempting to navigate the challenges they face during the reintegration process. His genuine heart and engaging manner have helped countless people become the best versions of themselves. Jon works tirelessly to reach as many former offenders, community leaders and partners as he can. He is often invited to be a motivational or keynote speaker and consults with law enforcement agencies and community partners across the country who are working to export the HOPE for Prisoners model to their area.
