About this event
Gina Bongiovi, JD/MBA, Managing Partner, Bongiovi Law Firm and Chair, Board of Trustees, Vegas Chamber
Gina is Managing Partner of Bongiovi Law Firm, a boutique firm that provides on-demand outside counsel services to businesses of all sizes.
In 2005, Gina started a marketing company and, in need of legal advice, couldn't find a lawyer that was willing or able to help a startup like hers. After hearing similar stories from other entrepreneurs, she decided to dedicate her practice to serving startups and small businesses. Over the last ten years, Bongiovi Law Firm has grown with its clients to serve businesses of all sizes - from one owner to 100, and from those without in-house legal to those whose legal departments need to offload some work. Its attorneys pair business education with real-world experience to provide clients with business-minded legal advice that addresses all facets of business ownership. Much like Robert Duvall's character in the Godfather, think of Bongiovi Law Firm as a business consigliere, except with considerably less violence.
Gina has helped found several nonprofits – Dress for Success Southern Nevada, Vegas Shepherd Rescue, Working K9 Rescue – and is working on others. She also served on the UNLV Alumni Association Board, is former chair of Vegas Young Professionals Advisory Council, and currently serves on the Dean's Advisory Boards for the Lee Business School and UNLV Honors College.
She's been honored as a Woman of Distinction by NAWBO, recognized as a Rising Star of Business by Las Vegas Business Press, listed among the Legal Elite for six years running, awarded the International Women's Forum Carolyn Sparks Founder's Award, and was named Alumna of the Year by both the Lee Business School and the UNLV MBA Program.

Lisa Levine, Director of Government Relations, IGT
Lisa Levine is a public affairs professional with expertise in community relations, government affairs, and business development. As the director of government relations for IGT, Lisa uses her political and policy experience to promote the company’s mission as a global innovation leader in the gaming industry. She chairs IGT’s Las Vegas Leadership Council and serves on their Women Inclusion Network’s executive committee. Before joining IGT, she spent more than a decade working in Nevada politics and government, including serving as political director and special assistant to Congresswoman Dina Titus.
Governor Steve Sisolak appointed Lisa to represent District 5 on the Board of Regents. In the midst of the pandemic and financial cuts, Lisa worked closely with the NSHE staff to mitigate a 20% cut to higher education’s $1.2 billion budget. In addition to advocating for a healthy and sustainable budget, Lisa fought for stronger protections for victims of sexual violence and discrimination, intervened to keep college students from being evicted from campus housing, and even started an endowed scholarship at her alma mater, UNLV, despite the economic times. Lisa is also an appointee to the Nevada Legislative Statutory Committee on Industrial Programs and had previously been appointed to and served on Clark County’s Animal Advisory Board.
Growing up in Las Vegas, Lisa earned her education through the Clark County School District, a bachelor’s degree in political science and master’s degree in public administration from UNLV, where is currently working on her Ph.D. in public affairs.
She is a founding member of Million Women Mentors of Nevada and serves on the board of the Public Education Foundation.
