    Research shows that poor leadership is the biggest reason employees leave a company. Brilliant jerks incur significant costs to an organization including talent attrition, absence of potential successors and high turnover to name a few. A leader's toxicity needs to be addressed before it spreads throughout the organization like a virus. Specific actions in the organization and support transforming the brilliant jerks behavior will significantly reduce suffering in the workplace, improve the organization's climate and increase overall effectiveness.
