NAWBO Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging Report Form

DEI&B at NAWBO

In principle and in practice, NAWBO values and seeks a diverse and inclusive membership. NAWBO seeks full participation in the organization by all business owners who support our mission to empower women entrepreneurs, regardless of race, religion, age, sexual orientation, national origin or disability.

NAWBO’s goal is to effectively represent the full diversity of the women business owner community and to expand access to leadership opportunities across the full spectrum of our membership. Our goal is to also create a culture in which every NAWBO member feels included, supported and cherished.

To help us do that, we ask that our members, national or local leaders, headquarter staff or partners report national incidents that violate NAWBO’s Inclusion Code of Conduct here. You can choose to submit a confidential message or share your name and contact information so we can reach out and learn more.

NAWBO leadership and the appropriate committess will review every message. If you provide your contact information, we will make every effort to respond promptly. Quarterly, or more frequently as needed, we will compile and share your feedback with our National Board and revise and implement action plans as necessary.

We don’t always get it right, but we always strive to grow, understand and be better—to unify the community. We are leading with transparency and working daily to meet the needs of all of our members by offering programming, resources and an advocacy voice that mean something to you as a business owner, a woman and as a unique individual. Thank you for sharing your experience, and being part of the change.
